(già recensito da Kurvenal) è una grandissimo pianista ormai avanti negli anni e che vanta collaborazioni con i più grandi artisti del panorama musicale, che della cortesia, dell’understatement e  della gestualità contenuta fa la sua cifra esecutiva. Ne è stata prova  la perfetta esecuzione del concerto di Mozart nel quale lo stile e la misura ma al tempo stesso la sicurezza tecnica hanno dato luogo a una concerto memorabile. Ax è la prova che non è necessario un pianismo d’assalto per esecuzioni di gran classe. Sarebbe del tutto auspicabile che gli venisse dedicato un recital solistico per permettere al pubblico di apprezzarne fino in fondo le qualità. Il concerto di Mozart è stato eseguito insieme alla Budapester Orchestra che nel concerto ha mostrato due facce. L’ouverture della Gazza Ladra ha lasciato molto a desiderare per la lentezza dell’esecuzione e per l’assenza di brillantezza del suono, a differenza dell’ouverture dell’ Italiana in Algeri eseguita con perfetto piglio rossiniano (singolare la scelta di due ouvertures di opere del compositore pesarese in un concerto sinfonico. Oggettivamente troppe). Ottima invece la sinfonia di Schubert nella quale tutte le sfumature del compositore viennese sono state rese appieno dando luogo a un’esecuzione di classe. Veramente difficile capire la differenza fra la prima e la seconda parte del concerto. Un buon successo di pubblico che ha molto apprezzato la performance di Ax che come bis ha eseguito un famoso Waltz di Chopin.

A coloro che leggono il blog chiederei cortesemente la registrazione al sito (che non comporta nulla): così facendo riceveranno un messaggio e-mail tutte le volte che un nuovo post è pubblicato.

PS Un “blogger” non è un oracolo e commette inevitabilmente errori (il minimo possibile..). Ricevo spesso “correzioni” non sempre fondamentali e non sempre precise. Così come io mi sottopongo al giudizio altrui con nome e cognome così chi vorrà avere la bontà di segnalarmi eventuali errori o imprecisioni dovrà farlo unicamente mandando un commento: a ognuno la propria responsabilità. In base alla nuova normativa chi si fosse iscritto e desidera de-iscriversi è sufficiente che mi invii un messaggio e-mail.

Ax is the proof that there is no need for an aggressive pianism for high class executions. It would be very desirable to organize for him a solo recital to allow the public to appreciate to the full his quality. The Mozart concert was performed together with the Budapester Orchestra which showed two faces in the concert. The overture of the Gazza Ladra was quite dull for the slowness of the execution and the absence of brilliance of the sound, unlike the overture of the Italiana in Algeri performed with perfect Rossinian style (singular choice two overtures the composer from Pesaro in a symphonic concert. Objectively too many). Excellent instead the symphony of Schubert in which all the nuances of the Viennese composer were  fully exploited leading to a high class execution. Really hard to undestand the difference between the first and the second part of the concert. A good public success that has greatly appreciated the performance of Ax that as encore has played a famous Waltzer of Chopin.
