. . gli orchestrali si stanno giustamente ribellando alla nomina come direttore musicale di una bionda testimonial di una lozione per capelli che fra le grandi manifestazioni cui è stata invitata c’è il raduno d Atreju, contestata più volte da orchestrali per manifesta inadeguatezza. Il casus belli è stato la mancata (e prevista) consultazione dell’orchestra in relazione alla nomina (un colpo di mano semplicemente) ma si tratta ovviamente di un paravento formale per una contestazione molto più sostanziale. E mi domando come la nominata non senta il bisogno di fare un passo indietro per la sua incolumità professionale: ma si immagina cosa vuol dire avere a che fare con una massa di orchestrali che non le riconoscono né prestigio né competenza? E se fosse costretta alle dimissioni dopo una rivolta o uno sciopero ad oltranza non sarebbe uno smacco indelebile su una carriera già abbastanza compromessa? Niente: testardamente resiste non rendendosi conto che un’orchestra non è un’industria in cui si può licenziare un dipendente ma si tratta di un organo delicato che può essere solo diretto in presenza di un indubbio prestigio. Che non è il caso della Venezi. Questa è una destra proprio stupida che ritiene di potere fare il brutto tempo (il bello mai) solo in funzione dell’appartenenza politica, credendo di potere scimmiottare il padrone spirituale americano. Sono un frequentatore della Fenice ma certamente non assisterò a spettacoli della testimonial (e la disdetta di abbonati storici dovrebbe essere un campanello di allarme). Credevo che fosse impossibile avere un sovrintendente peggiore del bolognese Macciardi (sbolognato a Napoli- non senza intoppi – senza neppure una parola di commiato) ma mi sbagliavo: al peggio non c’è limite. Speriamo che il sussulto dell’orchestra induca a miti consigli. Ma con il clima che si respira non c’è troppo da sperare. Dita incrociate.

A coloro che leggono il blog chiederei cortesemente la registrazione (che non comporta nulla). Così facendo riceveranno un e-mail tutte le volte che un nuovo post è pubblicato.
PS Un “blogger” non è un oracolo e commette inevitabilmente errori (il minimo possibile..). Ricevo spesso “correzioni” non sempre fondamentali e non sempre precise. Così come io mi sottopongo al giudizio altrui con nome e cognome così chi vorrà avere la bontà di segnalarmi eventuali errori o imprecisioni dovrà farlo unicamente mandando un commento: a ognuno la propria responsabilità. In base alla nuova normativa chi si fosse iscritto e desidera de-iscriversi è sufficiente che mi invii un messaggio e-mail..

In Venice, at the Fenice theater, the orchestra members are rightly rebelling against the appointment as musical director of a hair lotion blonde testimonial who among the major events to which she was invited was the Atreju rally (!), contested several times by orchestra members for manifest inadequacy. The casus belli was the failure (and planned) consultation of the orchestra related to the nomination but it is obviously a formal reason for a much more substantial protest. And I wonder how the nominee doesn’t feel the need to step back for her professional safety: but can she imagine what it means to deal with musicians who recognize to her neither prestige nor competence? And if she were forced to resign after an all-out revolt or strike, wouldn’t that be an permanent stain on a career that is already enough compromised ? Nothing: he stubbornly resists by not realizing that an orchestra is not an industry where an employee can be fired but it is a delicate organ that can only be conducted in the presence of undoubted prestige. Which is not the case with miss Venezi. This is a very stupid “right” that believes it can make bad weather (never good) only for political affiliation, believing it can copy the American spiritual master. I am a fan of Fenice but I will certainly not attend the testimonial’s performances (and the cancellation of historic subscribers should be a wake-up call). I thought it was impossible to have a worse superintendent than Bologna’s Macciardi (who went out of his way in Naples – not without a hitch – without even a word of farewell) but I was wrong: there is no limit to the worst. Let’s hope that the orchestra’s jolt leads to a milder advice. But with the climate which is breathed there isn’t too much to hope for. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
PS I would kindly ask the readers of this blog to register (which implies nothing) which can be easily made by “clicking” the black square above each post. By so doing they will receive an e-mail message whenever a new post is published.
PS A “blogger” is not an oracle and inevitably makes errors (the minimum possible..). I often receive “corrections” not always fundamental and not always accurate. Just as I submit myself to the judgement of others with the name and surname so those who want to have the goodness to report errors or inaccuracies will have to do so only by sending a comment: everyone has his own responsibility.
