. . del concerto riporta la biografia del concertista e i suoi successi. Faccio un atto di fede perchè quanto ho ascoltato non corrisponde alla biografia. Biss si presenta con un programma un po’ particolare, con i begli schizzi musicali di Kurtág, purtroppo poco eseguiti ma che meriterebbero maggiore attenzione da parte degli esecutori. A parte il compositore ungherese ha presentato un programma tutto Schubert (incluso l’unico bis, un improvviso). Un’esecuzione – come dicono gli inglese very average – piagata da non pochi strafalcioni esecutivi. Ormai non siamo più a tempi di Cortot che quanto a note false ed errori era un vero campione (ma con contemporanei invece eccezionali – chi può ascolti gli studi op. 10 di Chopin registrati da Backaus quando non c’era l’editing di quanto eseguito). E francamente Schubert non pone mai particolari difficoltà tecniche. Ma anche l’interpretazione è risultata piuttosto scolastica, priva di n afflato artistico e talvolta un po’ manieristica con sospensioni prolugate e ingiustificate. Insomma uno Schubert troppo biedermeier che sembra avere scordato che la riscoperta (se così si può chiamare) del compositore viennese ha offerto ben altre interpretazioni. Un buon successo di un pubblico non folto.

PS Un “blogger” non è un oracolo e commette inevitabilmente errori (il minimo possibile..). Ricevo spesso “correzioni” non sempre fondamentali e non sempre precise. Così come io mi sottopongo al giudizio altrui con nome e cognome così chi vorrà avere la bontà di segnalarmi eventuali errori o imprecisioni dovrà farlo unicamente mandando un commento: a ognuno la propria responsabilità. In base alla nuova normativa chi si fosse iscritto e desidera de-iscriversi è sufficiente che mi invii un messaggio e-mail..

The concert booklet reports the biography of the concert performer and his successes. I must take it for granted because what I have heard does not correspond to the biography. Biss presents himself with a rather peculiar program, with Kurtág’s beautiful musical sketches, unfortunately little performed but which should deserve more attention from the performers. Apart from the Hungarian composer Biss presented an all-Schubert program (including the only encore, an impromptu). An execution “very average” plagued by not a few executive blunders. Today we are no longer in the days of Cortot, who was a true champion in terms of wrong notes and errors (but with exceptional contemporaries – who can should listen to Chopin’s etudes op. 10 recorded by Backaus when there was no editing of what was performed). And frankly, Schubert never presents particular technical difficulties. But even the interpretation was rather scholastic, devoid of artistic inspiration and sometimes a bit manneristic with protracted and unjustified suspensions. In short, a Schubert too biedermeier who seems to have forgotten that the rediscovery (if you can call it that) of the Viennese composer has offered quite different, better interpretations. A good success with a not large audience.

PS A “blogger” is not an oracle and inevitably makes errors (the minimum possible..). I often receive “corrections” not always fundamental and not always accurate.
